In a growing number of Municipalities Park-line provides the Digital Permits service. Park-line can proces data and takes care of the financial handling. The Municipality provides the permit by means of handing out a Park-line card.
This is the same card that is used for Park-line Parking, so the card can hold multiple permits in multiple Municipalities, Park-line Parking as well as means to access garages.
The card has to be placed in a plastice holder, attached to the inside of the windscreen.
Parking attendents can scan the card to check it's status. Privacy for the cardholder is guaranteed since the information that is displayed on the handheld scanner of the parking attendent only reveals the status of the card, not any personal information of the user.
